7 Life Changing Ideas (That Will Actually Change Your Life) From 7 Experts

A day has only twenty-four hours but there is a lot that goes on within this time span. You go about your daily activities, encounter some wonderful moments, at times they turn dramatic or even boring. Each day is packed with pieces of life-changing events, some we don’t even notice. Some we ignore as they are mundane things but have a lot in terms of lessons. It’s only when we become aware of these events that we learn from them.

Nothing is as powerful as a changed mind. You can change the where you live, your clothes, your spouse or partner. Though if you maintain the same mindset and don’t change your mind, you will experience the same or similar loop of existence. This is simply because its not changing things on the outside that really matters. Now, its shifting things from the inside that really counts. Now the following experts all honor exceed the 10 000 hour rule, as well as can be easily said to be the go to authority in their realm.

Expert :- having, involving, or displaying special skill or knowledge derived from training or experience (Merriam-Webster.com)

“10,000-Hour Rule” – the key to achieving world-class expertise in any skill, is, to a large extent, is a matter of practicing the correct way, for a total of around 10,000 hours) – Outliers (The Book)

Here are SEVEN pieces of life-changing advice that can actually change your life, from seven experts…

1.

Make Everyday Meaningful

Anthony Robbins America’s number one life and business strategist, bestselling author and philanthropist openly articulates… ” My wish for you is to find a meaningful mission that will ignite you every day.” Now, at this moment and time you may not have a meaningful mission that ignites you and that’s okay. Though if you do have a meaningful mission celebrate it and remember to enjoy yourself throughout your journey, just as much if not more than at the completion of you mission.

That said, each day you have a chance to do something great. Use every minute of your time to do something that helps you improve your life as well as that of those who surround you. When you make this a habit, you’ll realize that life changes for better (for example, reading something positive daily or journaling your ideas). You’ll find that you’re happy, those around you love you and that your prospects in life are promising. This may be hard but when each morning involves spending some time thinking of something that you can do to make the day meaningful. It will be a matter of time before this becomes a routine and large part of your life. Make Everyday Meaningful.

“Life is found in the dance between what we desire and what we fear most”

– Tony Robbins

2.

Learn How To Breathe

Dr. Andrew Weil, father of Integrative Medicine (Integrative medicine is a philosophy of healthcare with a focus on individual patient care and combining the best of conventional western medicine and evidence-based complementary medicine and therapies within current mainstream medical practice) passionately said… “If I had to limit my advice on healthier living to just one tip, it would be simply to learn how to breathe correctly.  From my own experience and from working with patients, I have come to believe that proper breathing is the master key to good health.”

Every second we inhale and exhale, to us this is just a normal physiological process that allows us to live. But in reality, breathing is more than just a life process, when done right it can help in making your life better. Learning to breathe will allow you to do it better and with that you will be able to relax, reduce stress and relieve anxiety, improve immunity, sleep better and get so many other benefits that will make you healthy and happy. Learn How To Breathe.

“Pay attention to your body. The point is every body is different. You have to figure out what works for you.”

– Dr. Andrew Weil

3.

Think Positively, You Control YOU !

Lilly Singh YouTube personality, vlogger, comedian, actress, author and motivational speaker strongly believes everything you thought you couldn’t overcome, you have overcome. Furthermore that have been systematically under estimating yourself assuming you cant do things, assuming you weren’t enough, making excuses and circumstances seem bigger than you, when you in fact have been overcoming the odds day after day to get you to where you are today.

In addition Lilly says “the biggest mistake people make  is people think their brain controls them, when really they control their brain. Let me show you right now… Touch your nose… No, no stop what you are doing and actually touch your nose. Touch your nose. Did you touch it ? You touched it right! Congratulations. How did you do that ? You did that because you told your brain you wanted to touch your nose. So question for you, why is it that when you’re scared, upset or angry, suddenly you cant do things ? Because my question is how can you not do things when you are in total control of yourself. …can I be real with you ? You can do whatever you want to do… as soon as you stop making excuses and start taking ownership. Touch your nose, complete a task, it’s same to same !”

Life can be challenging, especially when you encounter situations which are not so easy and straightforward. Such situations may make you lose hope or even be stressed. However, when you develop a positive attitude, face challenges with confidence. You do not see them as problems, rather you see what’s in your way a little less and focus on achieving, manifesting or experiencing your actual goals. Think Positively.

“…Most importantly… You Are Phenomenal”

– Lilly Singh

4.

Everybody has opportunity

Gary Vaynerchuk, serial entrepreneur, New York Times bestselling author, speaker and viral internet personality soundly expresses that… “There are gate keepers who decide if you become a LeBron or Beyoncé. (To become a LeBron for example) You have to go to AAU Basketball, you have to go to College, the NBA scouts have to know who you are. You are not just some random dude in Iowa who is great at basketball and then you go the NBA. Entrepreneurship is somebody watching right now whose never made the leap, who has the talent. They don’t need Harvard Business School, they don’t need you and I (Gary points at himself and Grant Cardone) They need nothing. If you are good enough the market will accept you and that fact that we can have that opportunity (that chance) is special. And that’s why American idol worked.”

“People are chasing cash, not happiness. When you chase money, you’re going to lose. You’re just going to. Even if you get the money, you’re not going to be happy.”

– Gary Vaynerchuk

5.

Embrace Uncertainty

Sir Richard Branson business magnate, investor, philanthropist and founder of the Virgin group often voices the following… “Every success story is a tale of constant adaption, revision and change. A company that stands still will soon be forgotten. Trying to provoke positive change is a principle we’ve embedded across the Virgin family.” Most people want to feel in control of their lives and able to make decisions based on a future they can predict with certainty. But let’s face it, no matter how much you may try to control your environment, you can’t. Life is inherently uncertain and any certainty you think you have (beyond death and taxes) is to an extent mere illusion. Embracing life’s uncertainty liberates you to be decisive amid ambiguity and quicker to adjust your sails as the wind changes around you (rather than flipping out because it wasn’t in the weather forecast!). Embrace Uncertainty.

“Please be polite. Nothing in life should erode the habit of saying thank you to people or praising them.”

Richard Branson

As you embrace uncertainty, be kind and considerate to others. As you may have heard before… no man is an island. We live in a world where we are surrounded by people who have different personalities. Whatever we do should be good for us as well as for others. One of my favorite books as well as philosophers tell us to… “do unto others what we would like done to us.” If we live by this principle, we will always be good to others. We won’t spend time scheming against others or try to counter or derail their actions. People may wrong you but if you spend your energies planning revenge you may very well lose even what you have achieved. Being kind and considerate to others makes you happy, share this happiness with others. Be Kind And Considerate To Others As You Embrace Uncertainty.

Do not be embarrassed by your failures, learn from them and start again.

– Sir Richard Branson

6.

Things Are Not As Bad As You Think

Grant Cardone author, motivational speaker, real estate investor and sales trainer assertively affirms…  “Some say I’m showing off. Others say I’m inspiring. Guess it depends on what you are looking for. Stay optimistic about the future even when others aren’t. Doubt is your enemy. The more I do, the more I realise I can do more. If you want the cookie ignore the crumbs. The past isn’t important when you are creating the future… Show up early, treat people with respect and perform at the highest levels till the world cant deny you.”

Positive negative asymmetry plays a big part as to why we as humans may think things are bad, even though things are not as bad as we think. This occurrence of positive negative asymmetry is two complementary tendencies regarding how people respond to positive and negative events or information. On one hand, there is a tendency for bad events (such as failing in life, economic depression or recession, jobs being cut, being criticized, or experiencing loss of a close friend or family member) to have more impact on a person than good events (winning a competition, getting the job or career you want, receiving a compliment, starting a business or making a new friend).

The greater strength of negative information is most obvious in the area of forming an impression, where it is called the negativity effect. Accordingly, when people form an impression of another person, they put greater weight on the person’s bad or deviant behaviors (such as hitting a child for no reason) than on the person’s good behavior (such as rescuing a family from a burning house). On the other hand, most of the experiences people have in everyday life are pleasant. As a result, there is a tendency for people to expect positive outcomes and good experiences from other people. In part, this very expectation may lead people to be surprised by and strongly affected by the bad things that occur in life.

You may have developed an attitude towards certain things throughout your life. Possibly you may have come to believe that certain things are difficult and nothing good or productive can come from them. However, It’s only when you change your approach, your attitude that you discover that things are not as bad as they look. If you get out there and try things which you think are hard and challenging.

You may be surprised to find that they’re easier than most of those things that you have always believed to be easy. When you approach all that you do with that mentality, you’ll have accomplished half of it even before you started. Things are not always as they seem to be. Don’t dismiss something as hard or easy before you attempt it, take measured action do it and you may be surprised at the outcome. Things Are Not as Bad As You Think.

“Your greatness is limited only by your investments in yourself”

– Grant Cardone

7.

Be grateful for everything (even the crap!).

Zig Ziglar American author, salesman, and motivational speaker profoundly stated Be grateful for what you have and stop complaining – it bores everybody else, does you no good, and doesn’t solve any problems.”

Gratitude is one of the most powerful attitudes or emotions in our lives. Though we may all too often focus on what we are missing from our lives and what we don’t have as opposed to focusing on all that we do have. In addition to being obsessively thankful for what and who we have and how it and/or they serve and bless us. I know personally, being ungrateful kept me living in scarcity, fueled resentment, self-pity and a sense of powerlessness. So stand guard of your mind and when you catch yourself dwelling on what’s missing in your life, refocus your attention on all that you already have. Because no matter how bad things may seem, there is always something to be grateful for.

Celebrate even the small things –  from your ability to read this article (many can’t), to the roof over your head (that many would love). A profound difference  can be made to both your health and happiness. Fostering gratitude grows the blessings in your life,  sets off good vibes, positive emotions and keeps you from making small problems big. Some people whovmay have a habit of focusing only on what’s missing, what they can’t do, or don’t have may unfortunately be or end up miserable… no matter how much fame or fortune they have.

You don’t have to be great at something to start, but you have to start to be great at something.

– Zig Ziglar

If there is anything that is going to make you happy now in this moment or any other, its accepting your authentic-self and stepping up. Finding out what you are capable of, pushing against the concept of what you thought you could not be, do or have. Over come whatever it is that is holding you back from the relationship, the job, the business, the lifestyle, the complete life that you want. Practice the ideas and advice above and you’ll see some great changes and shifts in your life.
